New pressure monitoring implemented during Life I Live festival in The Hague

During the Life I Live festival in The Hague, a new functionality of the Crowd Safety Manager dashboard, which is part of the digital twin platform used to manage public safety during large events, was tested.

The annual festival attracts more than 200,000 visitors and places high demands on security measures. For the first time during the festival, advanced sensors from CrowdScan were deployed to measure crowds. These sensors collect data on crowd density through wireless signals, enabling a privacy-friendly approach without cameras.

The data collected is then displayed in real-time in the Crowd Safety Manager dashboard. This enables the organization, police and municipality to respond efficiently based on accurate and up-to-date information.

The development of the dashboard has continued in close cooperation with the City of The Hague and the police, to ensure that the platform continues to meet the dynamic needs of large public gatherings. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to contribute to a safe and organized festival experience through technological innovation and collaboration with local authorities.
