In the study “Cycling Accessibility, Willingness, and Proximity to Daily Services”, this connection is mapped at national and regional scales. It shows that investments in high-quality cycling connections not only reduce travel times but also create more equitable access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and shops for all residents, regardless of their means of transportation.
