The report “Toward an Urban Bike-Sharing System for Eindhoven” explores how a city-wide network of shared bikes can contribute to sustainable mobility and efficient space use. Using simulations, two scenarios are compared: a market-driven model and a government-driven model. The analysis shows that shared bikes can significantly reduce car traffic in the city center while creating new mobility options for residents and visitors.
