Argaleo strengthens the digital transformation of Breda’s city center. The Municipality of Breda, Ondernemersfonds Breda, StadsKracht and various city center partners have recently started jointly using our Digitwin Platform to actively manage visitor flows, economic developments, promotion, real estate issues and the quality of public spaces.
One integrated view for all partners
With Digitwin, the partners have access to a shared, interactive digital copy of the city center. This environment combines real-time and historical data into actionable insights, including:
- the number of passers-by at various locations;
- the relationship between visit locations and routes;
- the geographic origin of visitors.
By making this information centrally available, all parties involved gain the same, up-to-date picture of what is happening in the city. Decision-making around events, marketing campaigns, real estate investments or the redesign of public squares can therefore be better coordinated and monitored.

Proven value, now more widely applicable
The Municipality of Breda has been using Digitwin for some time across various policy domains, such as mobility and spatial planning. The expansion to city center partners means these same insights are now directly available to entrepreneurs, property owners and city marketers. Together with the municipality, they are taking the step toward a smarter, more future-ready Breda.

Toward a resilient and attractive city center
With the joint deployment of Digitwin, partners can:
- identify trends in visitor numbers early and respond proactively;
- objectively evaluate the impact of events and campaigns;
- base investment decisions on reliable data;
- make targeted improvements to public spaces based on usage patterns.
Argaleo continues to develop the platform, so that new data sources and features can be added seamlessly. In doing so, we contribute to a resilient, welcoming and economically strong city center where residents, visitors and entrepreneurs benefit fully from the available insights.
