Washington D.C. recently served as the backdrop for an inspiring workshop during the National Bike Summit, where Argaleo made a significant contribution. At the invitation of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management in the US, and under the leadership of the Dutch Cycling Embassy, Argaleo presented how digital twins can contribute to data-driven policy and decision-making for cycling infrastructure.
During the workshop, titled “From Policy to Pavement: Practical Tools for Better Bike Infrastructure”, the power of digital twins was demonstrated. This technology enables policymakers and cities to make better decisions about infrastructure and mobility based on real-time data and simulated scenarios.
The interactive session generated strong engagement and valuable conversations with policymakers, planners, and experts in cycling mobility. The enthusiasm and interest in digital twins highlight the potential of this technology in the United States. With a successful presentation and new connections, Argaleo looks forward to the next steps in further integrating digital twins into American cycling policy.
