Argaleo provides real-time information for Tour de France Femmes 2024

Last week, Argaleo played a crucial role in the successful organization of the Grand Départ of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift in the Netherlands. The event, which started in Rotterdam and passed through several cities in the region, became a great success thanks in part to its innovative real-time information solution Digitwin.

What made this project special was the unique collaboration between various stakeholders, including the municipalities of The Hague, Rotterdam and Dordrecht, the safety regions and the event organizer with its partners and suppliers. Thanks to our technology, all parties involved were looking at the same real-time information, resulting in an efficient and safe organization of the event.

The organization of the Tour de France Femmes looks back with pride on a week full of highlights. The event included three impressive stages through the region, with 22 teams and 154 riders, using the new Meuse Delta tunnel during the first stage. In total, the cyclists covered 200 kilometers through 13 different municipalities, with as many as 415,000 enthusiastic spectators along the route.

Argaleo is proud of the contribution we made to this large-scale event. Our technology allowed all parties involved - from municipalities to safety regions and event organizers - to respond quickly and appropriately to situations, which was essential to the safe and smooth running of the event. We are grateful for the collaboration and look forward to using our expertise on future projects.
