Argaleo’s integrated safety dashboard, an advanced application of our Digital Twin platform, again played a role in ensuring safety during King’s Day 2024 in Emmen. This year was particularly significant because the King was present, which required additional security measures. Close collaboration with the police ensured effective integration of the dashboard into the day’s security operations.
The dashboard integrates real-time location data, crowd meters, weather updates, and traffic information, providing a comprehensive picture of the situation on the ground. This technology was previously successfully deployed during King’s Day in Rotterdam and has again proved its worth in Emmen by enabling streamlined coordination between the various security services and event organizers.

Jeroen Steenbakkers, owner of Argaleo, underscores the dashboard’s impact: “The use of our integrated safety dashboard at an event where the king was present demonstrates how crucial integrated real-time data is for safety. Success in Emmen confirms our position as leaders in advanced security systems for large-scale public events.”
Matthijs Flim, Domain Director Smart City National Police, adds: “Each implementation of the system brings new insights that help us refine our technology. We are pleased with the positive impact the system has on event safety such as King’s Day.”
Argaleo invites officials responsible for event safety at cities, safety regions, police, and event organizers to contact us for more information about the dashboard and to discover how our solutions can improve safety at their events.
